Accreditation & Reports

Yes. We are a KOLAS-accredited testing laboratory, accredited for antiviral, antibacterial and cytotoxicity testing, and we can issue accredited test reports.

View KOLAS Accredited Testing page →

Our accreditation number is KT1269. NPChemBio is a testing laboratory accredited by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) under ISO/IEC 17025. The accreditation certificate and scope annex are available on our KOLAS Accredited Testing page.

View KOLAS Accredited Testing page →

The scope includes antibacterial and antiviral testing (ISO 21702, ISO 18184, ASTM E1052, KS K 0693, ISO 11930), water microbiology (APHA 9222, EPA-1602, ISO 14189), sterility and microbial limit testing (Korean Pharmacopoeia sterility test and microbial limit test, cosmetics microbial limit test) and cytotoxicity testing (ISO 10993-5, ISO 10993-12). Details by standard are on our KOLAS Accredited Testing page.

Accredited test reports bearing the KOLAS mark are issued for test standards within our accredited scope. Tests outside the scope are not eligible for accredited reports, so please ask us whether a test is within scope before submitting your request.

On request we issue a certificate in our own format; by default, results are provided as a report.

Antibacterial, Antiviral & Microbiology

Yes. We provide antibacterial and antiviral efficacy evaluation using bacteria, fungi and viruses. The KOLAS accredited scope (test standards) can be viewed on our KOLAS Accredited Testing page.

View KOLAS Accredited Testing page →

The KOLAS accredited scope includes ISO 21702:2019 (plastics and other non-porous surfaces), ISO 18184:2019 (textile products) and ASTM E1052-20 (virucidal activity against viruses in suspension). The applicable standard depends on the type of sample.

Antibacterial testing of textile products (KS K 0693:2022) is within the KOLAS accredited scope. For other standards or sample types, please contact us to confirm availability.

Total coliforms by membrane filtration (APHA Standard Methods 9222:2023), coliphage by the single agar layer (SAL) method (EPA-1602:2001) and enumeration of Clostridium perfringens (ISO 14189:2013) are within the KOLAS accredited scope.

Cosmetics & Medical Devices

Evaluation of antimicrobial preservation of cosmetics (ISO 11930:2019) and the microbial limit test under the Cosmetics Safety Standards (MFDS Notice No. 2025-63) are within the KOLAS accredited scope.

Yes. We evaluate cosmetic ingredient efficacy including anti-wrinkle, whitening, anti-pollution, moisturizing, astringent, UV protection (in vitro) and hair-loss prevention.

In vitro cytotoxicity testing for the biological evaluation of medical devices (ISO 10993-5:2009, ISO 10993-12:2021) is within the KOLAS accredited scope.

Efficacy & Functional Evaluation

We perform non-clinical testing and analysis including efficacy evaluation, antibacterial and antiviral testing, cytotoxicity testing, alternative-to-animal testing and pharmacokinetic analysis. Evaluations are tailored to the field (cosmetics, health functional foods, pharmaceuticals), and details of test items and conditions are provided on enquiry.

Yes. We provide non-clinical efficacy evaluation that satisfies the MFDS guidelines for functional evaluation of health functional foods. Functional areas include gut health, body-fat reduction, anti-diabetes, immune activity, brain health, exercise function (muscle), menopausal health and hair health. Please contact us for each area.

Yes. We verify efficacy in vivo using various disease animal models, such as rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune, lung and skin fibrosis, and metabolic disease models. Model selection and study design are discussed on enquiry.

Yes. We evaluate efficacy (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective effects) and safety (cytotoxicity, genotoxicity and skin irritation).

Analysis & R&D

Yes. We provide ADME characterization, including mouse-model pharmacokinetic studies, LC-MS/MS-based drug quantification and HR-MS-based metabolite analysis.

Analysis of bioactive compounds, LC-MS/MS-based quantification of natural product components, HR-MS structural analysis, and analysis of plant secondary metabolites and fermentation products.

Yes. We perform quantitative analysis of active and marker compounds in natural products, herbal medicines and functional materials. The analytes and methods depend on the characteristics of the material, so please contact us.

We offer microbial identification and community analysis (microbiome), cancer-related genes, pharmacogenomic genes, detection of foodborne bacteria and viruses, and GMO testing. For other fields, please contact us to confirm availability.

Yes. We support each stage of product development, from material discovery and screening to component analysis, efficacy evaluation, safety testing and technical consulting.

We support the whole process of an R&D project, including basic research, applied research, material discovery, regulatory approval support and report preparation.

Yes. We produce polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies for research, including antibody purification and titer measurement.

Yes. We develop and provide immunodiagnostic and molecular diagnostic platforms including ELISA, LFIA, immunofluorescence, PCR and LAMP.

Briefly describe your research purpose and target, and we will guide you on what is feasible and how the project would proceed.
